Terms & Conditions
Turnand Truffle is a premium Australian restaurant and social venue offering chef-led dining, cocktails, private events, and organised in-person poker evenings. By engaging with our website or services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Turnand Truffle hosts offline, social poker nights only. No online gambling, betting accounts, or digital wagering tools are offered. We encourage guests to enjoy our experiences responsibly and in line with applicable Australian regulations.
Terms & Conditions Overview
These terms and conditions (Terms) set out the basis on which you may access and use the Turnand Truffle website located at http://turnandtruffle.com/, and on which we provide our restaurant services, private dining and event experiences, and in-person offline poker nights (together, Services). The venue is located in Australia and is operated for guests who are able to lawfully enter into binding agreements under applicable Australian law.
By reviewing our menus, making a reservation or enquiry, confirming a booking, or attending our venue, you agree that these Terms apply in addition to any specific booking confirmations, house policies, or lawful directions given by our team on the night. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or proceed with a booking.
These Terms are intended to be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle your personal information and online data.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, viewing our content, submitting an enquiry, or confirming a reservation for dining, private events, or offline poker nights, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Your continued use of the website or participation in our Services after we publish any updates will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to draw them to your attention, but you are encouraged to review this page periodically.
If you are making a booking or enquiry on behalf of a group, company, or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of all guests in your party and that you will ensure they are made aware of the relevant conditions, including age, identification, and conduct requirements.
Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
Turnand Truffle accepts reservations for standard dining, private dining rooms, full-venue events, and hosted offline poker nights, subject to availability and any minimum spend or package requirements in place at the time of booking.
Reservations and event enquiries are typically initiated through our Reservations & Enquiries page, by phone, or via approved third-party booking partners (if applicable). We may require a deposit, credit card pre-authorisation, or signed event agreement to secure certain bookings, particularly for larger groups, private events, and poker night packages.
All prices quoted or displayed on our menus and on this website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to update menu items, pricing, and package inclusions from time to time to reflect seasonal changes, supplier availability, and operational requirements.
We accept a range of payment methods at the venue, which may include major credit and debit cards and contactless payments. Specific accepted payment methods may vary and can be confirmed at the time of booking or on arrival. We do not operate online betting accounts or digital wallets for wagering, and no online gambling services are provided.
Cancellations, reductions in guest numbers, or requests to reschedule must be communicated to us as early as possible, using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation or on the Reservations & Enquiries page. Where a deposit or minimum spend applies, our cancellation or amendment policy will be set out in your confirmation and may include time-based cancellation windows, partial forfeits, or full forfeiture of prepayments in the case of late cancellation or non-attendance, to the extent permitted by Australian consumer law.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings where circumstances beyond our reasonable control arise, including but not limited to safety concerns, government restrictions, or unforeseen venue issues. In such cases, we will endeavour to offer an alternative date, experience credit, or a refund of any prepayments, in line with our legal obligations.
Age & Identification Requirements
Turnand Truffle is an adult-focused dining and social venue. To attend our scheduled offline poker evenings, guests must be at least 18 years of age on the date of the event and may be required to provide current, valid photo identification on arrival, such as an Australian driver licence, passport, or other acceptable government-issued ID.
Where alcohol is served, we strictly follow Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) obligations under applicable Australian state or territory legislation. Our team may request proof of age at any time, and service of alcohol will be refused where acceptable identification is not provided, or where a guest appears to be intoxicated or underage.
For standard dining and private events, guests under 18 may be permitted in accordance with local licensing conditions; however, any consumption of alcohol must comply with relevant laws, and minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult where required. Event organisers are responsible for ensuring that all members of their party are legally permitted to attend and participate in the experience they have booked.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person who is unable to provide satisfactory identification where required, or who is reasonably suspected of being under 18 at a poker night or in an area where minors are not permitted, without obligation to provide a refund beyond what is required by law.
Venue Rules & Guest Conduct
To preserve a safe, comfortable, and elevated atmosphere for all guests, you agree to comply with our venue rules, house policies, and any reasonable directions given by our staff or hosts. These may relate to behaviour, dress code, photography, device use, and table etiquette.
We expect guests to act respectfully towards other patrons and our team at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes conduct that interferes with the enjoyment of other guests, threatens safety, or jeopardises our ability to comply with licence conditions and applicable regulations.
We may restrict or prohibit flash photography, videography, or live streaming within certain parts of the venue to protect the privacy and comfort of guests. You must obtain consent before capturing identifiable images of other patrons and must comply with any reasonable request to cease recording.
For offline poker evenings, additional table etiquette and participation rules may apply, including maximum table numbers, structured rounds or sessions, buy-in or participation fees where relevant, and requirements to follow the directions of our dealers or hosts. Any decision by our team regarding table management, seat allocation, or participation is final and made for the benefit of the overall guest experience.
We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to refuse entry, end a session early, move or re-seat guests, or remove a guest or group from the premises where these Venue Rules are breached or where safety, comfort, or lawful compliance is at risk. In these circumstances, no refund or credit is required to be provided, except where mandated by Australian consumer law.
Offline Poker Nights Disclaimer
Turnand Truffle’s poker nights are curated, in-person social events held exclusively at our physical venue. They are designed to complement our dining and beverage offering, bringing together guests for an engaging, hosted experience after dark. We do not provide online poker functionality, remote participation, or any digital gambling products.
Participation in our poker evenings is strictly in-venue and may be subject to prior reservation, capacity limits, or specific dining package requirements. Any participation charges, table allocations, or prize structures (where applicable) are clearly communicated on the night or in your booking information and are subject to change or cancellation at our discretion, acting reasonably and lawfully.
Our poker nights are intended for entertainment and social interaction only. While elements of friendly competition may be incorporated into the format, we do not make any promises, representations, or guarantees regarding the opportunity for financial gain, the likelihood of winning, or the outcome of any hand, table, or session.
No online wagering, betting accounts, digital wallets, or live odds are offered by Turnand Truffle. We encourage responsible participation at all times and may limit or restrict participation where necessary to uphold responsible-play principles and comply with Australian regulations.
By taking part in a poker evening, you acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you do so at your own risk, subject always to any non-excludable rights you may have under Australian consumer law.

Food and beverage offerings may contain allergens or ingredients that could cause adverse reactions. It is your responsibility to inform our team of any allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements before ordering. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any non-excludable guarantees, warranties, or conditions implied by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
